Beer of Satoshi GmbH, Im Mediapark 5, 50670 Cologne, Germany, is responsible for the processing described here. Contact: info@beerofsatoshi.com, +49 (0)170 90 89 406.
2. Data we process
Depending on how you use the store, we process contact and account details, delivery and billing details, order and support history, payment confirmations and transaction references, newsletter preferences, cap-claim support information, and technical data such as IP address, device/browser information, cookie identifiers and site activity. We do not receive full card credentials.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Store operation, checkout, payment, delivery, returns and support: performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Accounting, tax, product-safety and other statutory records: compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Fraud prevention, IT security, service improvement and establishment or defence of legal claims: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Newsletter, optional analytics, advertising and non-essential cookies: consent where required (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Consent can be withdrawn at any time for the future.
4. Shopify and service providers
The store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes storefront, account, checkout and order data on our behalf and may process data as described in Shopify's privacy documentation. We share only the data needed with payment providers selected at checkout, carriers offered for the delivery address, email and support providers, professional advisers and public authorities where legally required.
When relevant features are used, the browser may connect to our public leaderboard service, CoinGecko for Bitcoin price data, or YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode for a video. External services receive technical connection data such as the IP address. Do not activate optional external content if you do not want that connection.
5. Cookies and consent
Strictly necessary cookies support the cart, checkout, account, security, language and privacy choices. Where consent is required, optional analytics, marketing or external-content technologies are activated only on that basis. Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer to review or change choices.
6. Newsletter
We send marketing email only where permitted, including when you subscribe. Every marketing email provides an unsubscribe option. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
7. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers rely on an adequacy decision, approved standard contractual clauses or another lawful GDPR transfer mechanism.
8. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the stated purpose, the customer relationship, statutory accounting and tax retention, warranty and limitation periods, security, or legal claims. Data based solely on consent is deleted or no longer used when consent is withdrawn unless another legal basis requires retention.
9. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority, including the authority responsible for North Rhine-Westphalia.
10. Automated decisions and age
We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing. The store is not intended for persons under 18.
11. Updates
We update this notice when store features, providers or legal requirements change. The current version is published here.
