1. Seller and scope

These terms apply to purchases from Beer of Satoshi GmbH, Im Mediapark 5, 50670 Cologne, Germany ("Beer of Satoshi", "we" or "us") through this store. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

2. Age requirement

The store is intended only for customers aged 18 or older. By ordering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the recipient may lawfully receive the products at the destination.

3. Products and conclusion of contract

Product pages describe the essential characteristics, pack size and availability. Placing an order is a binding offer. A contract is formed when we send an order acceptance or dispatch confirmation, or when we dispatch the goods, whichever occurs first. We may reject or cancel an order when payment, stock, destination or legal delivery requirements cannot be satisfied and will refund payments already received.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the selected currency and include applicable VAT where stated. Bottle deposit and shipping are shown separately or identified on the product page and at checkout. Only payment methods displayed at checkout are available. Payment providers process payment credentials under their own terms and privacy notices; we receive confirmation and transaction references rather than full card credentials.

5. Delivery and preorders

Available destinations, carriers, rates, taxes, duties and estimates are shown at checkout. Genesis ships from available stock. Beer of Satoshi Zero is a paid Q1 2027 preorder; its exact dispatch date will be communicated before fulfillment. Partial delivery is permitted where reasonable and does not create additional shipping charges beyond those accepted at checkout.

6. Bottle-cap rewards

The hidden Bitcoin reward is a one-time digital product feature. A compatible Lightning wallet and internet access are required to claim it. Keep the original cap until the claim completes and never publish an unclaimed QR code. Public leaderboard data represents recorded claims, not product sales. Statutory product and defect rights remain unaffected.

7. Retention of title

Goods remain our property until full payment has been received.

8. Defects and liability

Statutory warranty law applies. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, fraudulently concealed defects, guarantees or mandatory product-liability law. For ordinary negligence, liability is limited as permitted by law to foreseeable damage resulting from breach of an essential contractual obligation.

9. Governing law and dispute resolution

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice does not deprive them of mandatory protection under the law of their habitual residence. We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
